Love Island UK 2023 winner Sanam Harrinanan claims she 'can't go back' to her old job after finding fame on the show
Love Island UK's Sanam Harrinanan has revealed her future plans after winning the show with boyfriend Kai Fagan earlier this month.
The 24-year-old – who was previously a social worker – has claimed she doesn't think she'll be able to return to her previous career after soaring to fame on the series.
However, she now has an exciting new plan to use her platform for good.
"I can't go into social work again, I don't think I'll be able to," she told Heat World

"But I've got a meeting about it this week with my social work manager because I want to be able to use this platform to help children locally."

Sanam, who now has 391,000 Instagram followers, added: "[Kai and I] spoke about doing stuff afterwards. We can't go directly into it but we can use our platforms to do something."
Kai, who was previously a PE teacher, added that he wanted to go down a similar route.
The loved-up pair had previously told Love Island UK host Maya Jama that they hoped to spend some of their $92,000 prize money on helping children.

"We both like worked with kids before we entered the villa and that's something that we wanna continue doing," Kai said.
"I think we're gonna like try and take part of it and invest it in like passion projects to like really help the things that we believe in."
Sanam and Kai were crowned the winners of Love Island UK's winter edition earlier this month.

The couple beat Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, and Samie Elishi and Tom Clare, who finished in second and third place respectively.
Sanam gushed about her partner after being crowned the winner, saying: "For me it was always Kai.
"I always said he was my number one and that, of course he is a very attractive guy, but apart from the looks, like I was just like… he's an amazing guy, everything about him."
Kai added that his partner blew him away from the moment they met.

"I think it was eyes," he said. "Now she doesn't leave my side. I don't leave her side and I absolutely love it."
