Exclusive: Mimi and Steph announce their split after co-star's label them 'clout-chasers' in brutal double Dumping

EXCLUSIVE: Tempers flared as Mimi and Steph were dramatically Dumped from Love Island Australia after the majority of the Islanders voted them as "clout-chasing".

In their unseen exit interview, which you can watch above, Mimi and Steph labelled their co-stars' decision as "crazy" saying they were "the two most authentic people there".

Despite their strong feelings inside the Villa and French-born Steph declaring he would visit Mimi in Australia, the pair confirmed they split one month after leaving the show.

"Mimi and I are not in a relationship, we decided to stop things one month after the show but we are on good terms together. I don't regret anything, she's an amazing woman," Steph told 9Entertainment.

But Mimi explained she was the one that ended things.

"I actually called it quits with him, purely because he did and said things that I was not comfortable with. He showed another side of him that I didn't like," Mimi explained.

"When the show finished, we actually got into quite a big argument that involved me stating that I didn't want to continue this relationship.

"He kind of crossed my boundaries quite a few times and I was quite upset about it. I feel like he was a different person outside of the Villa."

Unfortunately for Mimi, she realised that perhaps her Love Island co-stars were right.

"I feel like it was an 'I told you so' moment from everybody else, and yeah, his reasonings for going on the show weren't as authentic as I thought."

Steph opened up about his plans to sign with a modelling agency as well as pursue careers in the creative space.

"I want start acting, my dream it's become an actor. I also love music [but] I'm not gonna talk to much about that… Stay tuned," he said.

Mimi admitted that hearing about Steph's career ambitions was "interesting".
