There was no shortage of tears, shock or drama in Love Island Australia's very first Recoupling Ceremony.

In Episode 3, after Bombshell Taylor stole Dylan's girl Eilisha, Sophie Monk gave him just hours to try and win another Islander lady over in order to save himself from being Dumped.

Dylan had put in the graft with Mimi who was having a hard time choosing between him or her partner Zane.

But things got uber tense as Sophie Monk asked Mimi if she wanted to "stick" with Zane or "twist" to Dylan.

Zane was now single and looked to be at risk of being Dumped, that was until Xanthe was called up to reveal whether she'd be sticking with her partner Kane or twisting.

"It's a lot of pressure it's not nice," Xanthe said ahead of her decision.

In a blindside almost nobody saw coming a tearful Xanthe announced that she'd be leaving Kane single and Coupling Up with Zane.

Xanthe sobbed as she came to terms with breaking Kane's heart.

While there was still Em who had the chance to save Kane, in the end she remained loyal to her partner Indigo.

That meant Kane was sadly the first Islander to be Dumped from the Villa in what was a very emotional Recoupling Ceremony.
