'I feel sick': Love Island Australia's Phoebe Spiller drops to the floor after boyfriend Mitchell Eliot surprises her with a tattoo dedication

Love Island Australia's Mitchell Eliot has surprised his girlfriend Phoebe Spiller with a grand romantic gesture.

The pair – who were runners up of Season 4 – have been together for over a year now and are about to celebrate their second Christmas together.

As part of an early Christmas present, Mitch surprised Phoebe by getting a tattoo dedicated to her.

The tattoo read "PS I love you", with the 'PS' holding a special double meaning as they are also Phoebe's initials.

"I just got back from getting one of Phoebe's Christmas presents and I'm a bit worried to show her," Mitch confessed in the video.

Phoebe stood their waiting for Mitch to hand her a present.

"I feel sick," she said in suspense.

Mitch handed her a gift box as a decoy but soon enough Phoebe noticed the tattoo.

Phoebe was in shock and soon erupted into tears.

"Do you like it?" Mitch questioned.

Much to his relief, Phoebe replied: "Of course I like it."

Overwhelmed with emotion, Phoebe dropped to the floor and continued to sob.

"That's so nice! That's me," Phoebe said through tears.

Phoebe wasn't the only one crying over the romantic gesture.

Friend and co-star Claudia Bonifazio also broke down in tears when Mitch showed off the tattoo to her over FaceTime.

"Crying like we're engaged," Phoebe captioned the screenshot of Claudia.
