Hamish Blake teases 'big talent' and reveals epic detail in the global new season of LEGO Masters 2024

Aussie comedian Hamish Blake said fans can expect some "big talent" in the show-stopping new season of LEGO® Masters.

Speaking with Today Show's Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo on Monday morning, Hamish also revealed the epic lengths he went to while filming the season's first trailer.

"It's unbelievable, I didn't realise you were Olympic-level athletic," Karl teased.

While the LEGO® Masters host joked that a "few million people" came down to fill the spectator stands in the promo, he did spill one surprising detail.

"I actually did run through the fire for that," he told Karl and Sarah. "That was real fire."

"I saw that, it's lucky you're alive," Karl joked while Sarah called Hamish the ultimate "stunt man".

Season 6 of the beloved series will be "Australia vs. The World" and premieres this Sunday April 14 at 7:00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

In a global twist, four brand new Aussie teams will take on four international teams who have previously competed in their home country.

"We've got some pretty big hitters coming in to play the Aussies," spilled Hamish.

He also revealed which team would be Australia's "biggest threat".

Along with special guest appearances, the challenges this year are expected to be more demanding than ever.

From LEGO® go kart racing, to a spectacular window display challenge, celebrating 85 years of Batman and more.
