Emma Watkins on her biggest competition during LEGO Masters Bricksmas 2022
Emma Watkins is adding another string to her bow as she takes on LEGO® Masters' Bricksmas special.
The children's entertainer has an impressive resume as the former yellow Wiggle and now as the star of her own show, Emma Memma.

This Sunday, November 20, in the first installment of a two-part LEGO Masters Bricksmas special, Emma is stepping into the world of some of her fans by picking up some LEGO bricks.
But in an exclusive interview with 9Entertainment, Emma shared that LEGO isn't just child's play.
Having admitted she "hadn't played with LEGO since she was a kid," Emma had her doubts going into LEGO Masters Bricksmas special.
But she said her flair for craft made it pretty easy to pick up again.
"We make all our own sets and props on Emma Memma, so I felt I had a bit of practice in terms of visual concepts and bringing things together," she said.
She confessed that while she was initially "nervous" about the process, once she got direction from her expert partner Gerhard "G" she was ready to take on anything the LEGO world threw at her.

Emma is one in a celebrity lineup including Darren Palmer, Poh Ling Yeow and Lincoln Lewis, competing to build Christmas-themed LEGO creations.

Emma admitted her competition was fierce.
"It's such an interesting mixture of contestants because everyone has a really creative brain," she said.
"Poh for example, she is so used to creating dishes out of nothing, and her creativity and being a painter is something that's super super special.
"Darren, obviously, just has a knack for aesthetics, and Lincoln, as an actor, has great ideas about creating scenes and how people connect.

"And so we kind of all have creativity but in totally different ways."
But with a 12-hour build to tackle, Emma didn't have much time to see what her competition was up to.
"Once you're in the zone, you don't really look up much," she said.

Emma revealed her favourite part of her LEGO Masters Bricksmas was learning from her partner G.

"I honestly had the best partner. We have now become best friends," she said.
Despite going in with "no expectations", Emma has come out the other side of Bricksmas a total super fan.
"I've already purchased my own LEGO sets, more than a few, I've even been to the LEGO stores in Sydney and in Perth and I went to Bricktober LEGO festival in Perth," she said.
