Peter Pan x Historical Epic | Twisted Tales
In Episode 3, teams undertook the Twisted Tales challenge – that's fairytales with a twist!
The teams had to pick one ball out of two barrels. In one barrel, was the name of a classic fairytale. In the other barrel, was a genre.
Their task? To combine both the fairytale and genre, no matter how bizarre, in a scene-stealing build.
Sam and Emilio received Peter Pan as their fairytale and Historical Epic as their genre.
But for the first time this season, one time would be eliminated.

Sam and Emilio felt good about their epic, depicting Peter Pan and Captain Hook battling it out in the Colosseum.
"It's an amazing build, it looks epic," Emilio said ahead of the critiques.
"We're just really, really happy with what we've created," Sam added.

Brickman said their Peter Pan, especially with the way he is posed, was "awesome".
We love the details!
The yellow and blue bricks to depict Tinkerbell flying next to Peter Pan is incredibly clever.

Brickman wasn't as complimentary about their Captain Hook, but we have to say we love the way they've built his facial hair and pirate outfit.

Brickman felt that the way Captain Hook's legs were posed was strange.
"I get that he's just in the throes of being defeated, but his legs are bending in ways that they can't actually physically bend," Brickman called out.

But his biggest issue was with the scale of the build which he felt did not portray an 'historical epic' – but he did concede this was one of the hardest genres to recreate.
"The Colosseum – again, I think the idea's perfect – but how does that translate into LEGO bricks?
"That is so tough."

Emilio explained that they made Peter Pan and Captain Hook big, but hoped the mini figures placed around the Colosseum would make it look like a big building.
Brickman did not feel like this worked.
"My brain, subconsciously, is trying to figure out 'are they giants? Are they little people?'"
He save the fairytale a big tick but said the genre component was not clear enough.

Sam and Emilio said the feedback 'shot them down' and was a shock.
Unfortunately, they now felt the pressure of a looming elimination and were named as the bottom two alongside Ben and Eric.
Brickman said unfortunately their genre did not translate in their build and they were eliminated.
They said they were "pretty gutted" to leave, especially on a build that they were "so happy" with.
Sam said they "came here for an adventure" and that was exactly what they got.
Emilio agreed.
"No one wants to go home, especially first, but it's been absolutely amazing, we've loved every single second of it," he shared.
Banana Split | LEGO®GoGoGoKarts Challenge
In week 2 of LEGO Masters, the teams were given the task of teaming up in groups of four to create the most incredible exterior to a go-kart on top of a blank chassis for the LEGO®GoGoGoKarts Challenge.
Brickman would then give each go kart a score out of 10, and each team would race their go-kart. They had to make it over the line with their go-kart mostly in tact, and the team who got across the finish line first would receive three bonus points from Hamish.
As winners of the previous challenge, Felix and Annalena (from Germany) got to choose all of the teams – two Aussie teams, and two international teams.
Each team would have to choose their designated driver, and race for the chance to win big!
