As two teams raced to finish their hot dog go-kart on LEGO® Masters 2024, there was one thing bothering Hamish Blake.
"The international teams were not familiar with the concept of a sausage sizzle," sighed the host in disbelief. "That needs to be fixed."

By pulling a barbecue, on a trailer, towed by a custom LEGO® go-kart.

Hamish dubbed it the "correct way" to combine sausage and bread. Judging by the international teams' reactions, we're not sure they entirely agreed.

"Are you going to eat it?" Hamish asked a very hesitant Felix, who hails from Germany, home of the bratwurst.
What Felix did next behind Hamish's back, had the rest of the contestants giggling.

"When you see the European hot dog, it's like a lot of stuff going on there – pickles, onions, nice bread," Felix told cameras.
"The Aussie hot dog is a little bit sad..." he admitted.
As Hamish continued to dish out the "closest thing we have to a national cuisine", Ida from Team Denmark had quite the different reaction. As did Team USA.
