Exclusive: Owen welcomes his first child days before winning LEGO Masters 2023 with his best friend Scott
Scott and Owen were crowned the winners of LEGO® Masters 2023 this month, taking home the coveted Grand Masters title and $100,000 in prize money.
But it's not the only news the duo have had to celebrate, as Owen has confirmed he and his wife Arianah welcomed his first child just days before the pair won the series.

In an exclusive interview with 9Entertainment, the new dad gushed: "She was born on the 30th – little Olive Grace."
When asked if it had been the wildest month he'd ever experienced, Owen laughed: "Without a doubt! When it rains it pours.
"I don't know what's going to top it, to be honest."
He also said that he hopes his little one grows up to love LEGO as much as he does.
"I don't think she's got a choice in that, as soon as she can lift her fingers independently," he joked, saying it would be "the best" if they could be in a father-daughter team many years down the line.
Viewers will recall how earlier on in the season, Owen told Scott he was expecting a child – with a little help from Hamish – while the duo were mid-build.
Speaking about that moment, Scott said: "I was over the moon, man! I was there when Owen told me he was going to marry his now wife when we were in Europe together and I got emotional then.

"But this completely blindsided me. I knew they were trying and I hadn't heard any news, so I thought - let's focus on LEGO. Then out of nowhere he just caught me off-guard. Even talking about it now makes my heart feel tight."
While Scott has his heart set on a 2006 Toyota LandCruiser Sahara, Owen has some very different plans for his share of the prizemoney.
"This time, I have an eight-day old child so we're family first, new car for the Mrs, house extension so she's got somewhere to sleep," he said.

Scott and Owen were crowned the champions of LEGO Masters Grand Masters during Monday night's finale, two years after they lost out to 2021 winners David and Gus.
The team managed to beat out two fan-favourite teams to nab the title on Grand Masters; runners-up Joss and Henry and Alex and Caleb, who came in third.
