'Stop the clock!': Hamish Blake interrupts the LEGO Masters 2023 Grand Finale for a dance party
The last thing the teams need in a LEGO® Masters Grand Masters Grand Finale is an interruption.
But that's exactly what Hamish Blake did when the contestants got half way through their build.

The host wanted to mark the Grand Finale with something special – a dance party! You can watch the moment in the video above.
"This is the finale, it's basically the Super Bowl of LEGO. So what's missing? That's right, a half time show," he told cameras.

And Hamish got Brickman on board to help him with his plan.
"Stopping the clock! Hands off the bricks please," Brickman ordered the teams.
The teams were confused as an alarm sounded. "What the hell is going on?" Scott said.

It all started to make sense as Hamish emerged with a DJ on hand and wearing a glow in the dark ensemble to kickstart a half time disco party.
And it wasn't long before the teams joined in on all the dancing.
"If I could've personally requested one thing to gee me up in the middle this long arduous build, it would be a dance rave," Caleb told cameras.

For a brief moment all the pressure of the Grand Finale was forgotten as the remaining teams danced their worries away.
And they wanted Brickman – who was just watching from the sidelines – to get in on the fun too.
"Brickman, Brickman, Brickman," they began chanting.
And it wasn't long before he starting busting some of his own moves.
It wasn't the only time the host had us in stitches during the Grand Finale.
Earlier in the episode the host announced that a "huge twist" – while Brickman had the power to cast 100 votes he Hamish finally had his own power.
"Channel Nine has decided to award me with my very own vote, well more accurately half a vote – this is the beige Brick," he joked.
"Who will win my half a vote, which in the event of a deadlock could win you – don't roll your eyes Alex."
