As we prepare to head into 2025 and hopefully jet away to some incredible destinations, we thought we'd ask them for the packing hack they swear by.
One of them costs just $20 and can completely change the way you pack, so let's dive in:
The genius packing hacks the Getaway hosts swear by
When it comes to packing, there's one tiny device that is key for Sam McClymont.
"I am all about the packing cubes," she says. "I separate everything from charging cables to shoes. Each family member has their own, making finding what you need easy.
"At the end of the holiday, you can also use one for all your dirty clothes."

Packing cubes allow you to compress your belongings into easy-to-pack sizes, and the light-weight material means they won't add any extra kilograms to your luggage.
They keep clothes organised and less wrinkled, and there's no more rooting around for that one swimsuit you swear you packed!
You can pick up entire sets of packing cubes for around $20 online. Bargain!

Sam also has another hack, one which David Reyne agrees is very important.

"Also, just before I zip my suitcase, I go through all the clothes and remove a few items. We tend to pack way more than we need," Sam explains.
David adds: "Pack everything into the suitcase and before calling all family members and the family dog in to sit on it in order to zip the damn thing up, halve all contents.
"Then, choose a smaller suitcase. Even if you're going away for five weeks, there's absolutely no reason not to pack as much as you'd take for five days."
Charli Robinson gave us another space-saving hack, adding: "Roll it baby! You can fit so much more in and I find less creasing on my clothes. Always pop socks inside the shoes.
"Also, a great travel toiletries bag that hooks onto a hotel bathroom wall to save space and sticky tape around the lid of any spray tan you might take. Learnt that the hard way!"
While Livinia Nixon says: "I always travel with a reusable water bottle.
"If it's empty, you can take it through airport security and fill it on the other side. Saves dehydration on the plane and comes in handy for day trips exploring at your destination... just rinse out and off you go again."

Catriona Rowntree always recommends that you get a small cross-body bag to keep all your essentials in, so you don't have to root around in a big tote bag or zip-up case when you need something.
"You always need to take a pen," she advises. "It's so annoying, on board, you have to fill out all your immigration stuff, and I can never find a pen."
