Catriona Rowntree puts her 'life on the line' as she returns to thrilling destination 30 years later

Catriona Rowntree was promised a "nice trip to Canada" for her latest Getaway assignment – what she got, was far more adrenaline-inducing.
The host returned to Whistler after 30 years, revealing she put her "life on the line" for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
"Can you hear my screams, on the moon?" she asked fans in a video that's racked up over 37,000 views.

In the clip shared to her clip, Catriona was rugged up and locked in as she braced herself for a thrilling tree-top zipline through the mountains.
"Dear Lord! Help me now!" she wrote the video that captured her terrified screams.

In the video, the brave star screamed as she raced over icy, rapid rivers and breathtaking Canadian views.

She might have had a worried look on her face, but soon realised she was having a blast.
"OK, That was fun!" the 54-year-old added.
"Care to join me? Put your life on the line!!! Would you really like to be a Travel Reporter?" she asked fans.

"Be honest, would you do this? (I kinda loved it)," she wrote in the comments under her video.
"It really is a dentist drill isn't it 😂 #sorrybutnotsorry," the host laughed about her screams.

Catriona touched down in Whistler where it was a chilly 16 degrees. She admitted the destination is "still just as busy n' beautiful" as it was when she first visited three decades ago.

She spotted a few furry friends, black bears, from the safety of a photo tour.
The host revealed she even stayed in the same hotel as her first trip to Canada.

"Crew shot, from today's office, ain't she pretty," Catriona captioned her latest snap from filming.
"I'll show you more when I settle down, just wanted to show you a beautiful pocket of Canada," she wrote.
