Exclusive: Amy Shark reveals why she felt 'defeated' after a fiery Boardroom clash which saw her fired from Celebrity Apprentice

Amy Shark is the latest star to be booted off Celebrity Apprentice Australia after Lord Alan Sugar fired her in an intense Boardroom showdown.

Four celebrities were fighting for their spot in the finale, but unfortunately Lord Sugar didn't think she had "the hunger to get to the Grand Final".

When explaining what happened in the Boardroom, Amy said she felt backed into a corner.

"Darren got really heated, he hit breaking point, to the point where I didn't even know what to do anymore, I was just defeated," Amy told 9Entertainment in an exclusive interview.

"Lord Sugar fired me because I don't think he thought I had a strong enough or fiery enough argument."

But reflecting on how far she's come in the competition, Amy was proud of what she's achieved.

"I've managed to beat so many people who were here from the start, some really strong players like Turia, Bronte, Carla... I'm really proud of the effort that I've put in and I've really been completely out of my comfort zone," she said.

"I'm just proud that I got through it… I'm here to tell the tale."

She added, "I never thought I'd ever do anything like this, let alone get to the final four of a competition. There's a first time for everything and I'm kind of the person that likes to switch it up every now and then… I'm really happy that I did it."

One thing that Amy did find difficult during the competition was being around so many big personalities.

"It was hard balancing personalities more than anything and one of my strategies was to make sure that I got to know everyone and be everyone's buddy to make it hard for them to fire me or take me in the Boardroom," she revealed.

"But it backfired a little bit because I did get close to people so when I had to take people into the Boardroom, it was really hard."

Despite just missing out on the Grand Finale, Amy wouldn't have done anything different, and she did learn something about herself along the way.

"I can be pretty ruthless when I need to be [it] turns out," she laughed.
