Ciel Dubai Marina has opened - take a look inside the new world's tallest hotel

If you love views, don't mind heights and have some deep pockets, then this new hotel in Dubai could be for you.
The Ciel Dubai Marina has 82 floors, 1004 rooms, and stands 377 metres tall, making it the new world's tallest hotel.
And it is officially open and welcoming guests.

There are 147 suites and all rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the emirate. Deluxe rooms start at around $895 per night.
The hotel also has a couple of other claims to fame - the world's highest club on the 81st floor, and the world's highest infinity pool on the 76th floor.

There are eight restaurants and cafes, as well as a gym, luxury spa (opening in 2026) and access to Soluna Beach Club on Palm Jumeirah.
The sky lounge and terrace on the 81st floor also has a fully air-conditioned 360-degree open-air space offering panoramic views.
The estimated cost to build is just over $800 million.

The project is from The First Group and CEO Rob Burns said the company is "extremely proud" to see the hotel come to life "in a truly idyllic location, with unbeatable views of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai skyline".
"Ciel represents a landmark development that reinforces Dubai's position as a global hub for tourism and business travel."

He told CNN earlier this year, the construction has been a passion project.
"The reason I like the fact that it's called Ciel (the French word for sky) is because I believe in our own lives the sky is the limit, and that's the case certainly in my own life.

"I've had a chance to grow, to do things that I didn't think I would get a chance to do. So it's been amazing."
Dubai is home to eight of the top 10 tallest hotels in the world.
