Skyscanner says 43 per cent of Aussie travellers are planning to spend more on travel in 2025 than they did this year.

No doubt that's also to do with the cost of everything rising.

The data reveals that 36 per cent have budgeted to spend more on flights, 31 per cent are going to spend more on accommodation, and 14 per cent are planning to spend more on car hire.

However, it's no surprise that most asked said the weather, attractions and food were their top reasons for choosing where to go.

"Aussies have experienced different ways of enjoying travelling over time, but one thing that remains consistent is the desire to find new destinations and to land a good bargain," Skyscanner Travel Expert, Jarrod Kris, said.

Here are the seven holiday trends we're going to see next year.
