Traveller issues warning for tourists using popular swim-up bar: 'Do not hang out in the pool'
A traveller and TikTok influencer has issued a "disgusting" warning for people who use the popular swim-up bars at holiday resorts.
Canadian woman Whitney, who posts under the name @twofoodpiggies, shared a clip from a hotel in Cabo, Mexico which boasted a sparkling pool bar.
Whitney cautioned her followers to "avoid the pool with the swim-up bar" because of one vulgar reason – many people use it as their personal toilet.

"Vacation pro tip: Do not hang out in the pool where the swim-up bar is," she wrote in the now-viral clip.
"There was literally intoxicated guests admitting that they were peeing in the pool here."
She added in the caption: "One girl didn't understand why some people were leaving the pool to use the washroom."
Amid the deluge of shocked comments, it seemed some of Whitney's followers didn't see the problem with peeing in a hotel pool.
A few people openly admitted to doing it themselves, while others shared horror stories from pools at other resorts.

"Well we all do," one man wrote, as another added: "There's so much chlorine, you're fine."
"The amount of people admitting peeing in a pool in this comment section disgusts me," an unimpressed man wrote.
One person warned: "Not me diving under water at a swim up bar and getting an ear infection."
"Good advice. Some people sit there all day and never leave," another wrote.

Meanwhile, some of Whitney's followers argued it was normal to pee in public pools, especially if you are a pro-swimmer or water polo player.
"As a collegiate swimmer, I promise we all peed in the pool everyday," one man added, while another wrote: "Tell me you weren't a swimmer or water polo player without telling me."
In further proof of why swim-up bars aren't exactly clean or hygienic, Whitney shared a follow-up video of the pool turning into a makeshift nightclub during the evening.
In the clip, dozens of people were cramped into the pool while dancing and drinking.
"Their parties here are wild…" Whitney captioned her video.
