Return Fiji flights for under $600 in Qantas sale - plus more of the best travel deals

A tropical break in Fiji could be within reach with a new Qantas sale offering return flights for under $600.

The popular holiday nation is among destinations on offer with more than 180,000 discounted seats to eight island destinations including Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Samoa and Norfolk Island.

“The islands of the Pacific have long been a favourite escape for Australians and this sale brings eight of them into closer reach with fares from $579 return,” CEO Qantas International Cam Wallace said.

Australians continue to head to the islands in record numbers, with more than 430,000 trips taken to Fiji in 2025-26, an increase of more than five per cent on the previous year.

Economy return fares start from $599 from Sydney to Fiji, with travel on select dates between 26 January and 22 March 2027,

The week-long sale also includes economy return fares from $579 from Brisbane to Port Vila in Vanuatu on select dates between January and September 2027.

Or for $609 fly from Brisbane to Noumea in New Caledonia, on dates between February and August 2027.

Sydney to Tonga is on offer from $699, with travel dates from 24 July 2027, in time for humpback whale sightings.

Or head to Palau from Brisbane for $799 from late November 2026 and again from January to March 2027.

The sale ends at 11.59pm (AEDT) Monday 26 October 2026 unless already sold out.
