Wanderers claim historic ACL title
The Western Sydney Wanderers have stormed into the record books after becoming the first Australian football club to win the Asian Champions League title.
The A-League side overcame Saudi powerhouse Al-Hilal in the two-legged final, claiming the crown with a tense 0-0 away draw after winning the first match 1-0 at home last week.
The Wanderers needed all their defensive might, and a little luck, to shut out their more fancied opponents, but held on to become the new kings of Asia.
