Meet the stars set to light up the World Rugby Sevens Series
Michael Hooper, Antoine Dupont and Charlotte Caslick.
The World Rugby Sevens Series has a new name and a new home on Stan Sport as the crucial 2023-24 season kicks off in Dubai on Saturday.
Rebranded as 'SVNS,' Stan will bring you every minute of the action as the men and women play together for the first time across eight tournaments over seven months.
Superstars Michael Hooper (Australia) and Antoine Dupont (France) will both play on the circuit after switching from the 15 man game in a bid for gold at the Paris Olympic Games next year.
In the women's competition, keep an eye out for Australia's captain Charlotte Caslick and the dynamic Levi sisters, Maddison and Teagan.
New Zealand are the defending champions in both the men's and women's series.

Maurice Longbottom (Australia)
Nicknamed 'Moz,' Longbottom was a Rabbitohs junior but was told he was too small to make it as a professional footballer.
The hot stepping Indigenous playmaker has found a home in sevens, however, forging a reputation as one of the most dangerous attacking threats in the game.
He's already impressed Michael Hooper, with the Wallabies legend saying he's the type of player "who can beat you in a phone booth."
Jasmine Joyce (Great Britain)
The Wales speedster is on track to star at a third Olympic Games as she represents Great Britain on the sevens circuit.
Joyce scored 21 tries in 30 sevens games last season and has also been a star winger for the Wales XVs team.
"I absolutely love sevens. I've dreamt of playing on the circuit since I started playing it so to finally be able to do that fulltime this season is something really, really special for me."
Ilona Maher (USA)
A star on the rugby field and on social media (more than 300,000 Instagram followers), Forbes recently wrote an article headlined: 'Is Ilona Maher rugby's most exciting player?'
While that might be a little bit of a stretch, Maher's power and passion immediately stands out on the sevens pitch.
"It's so fast paced, it's so much going on. Think about (NFL) football. It's two minutes of play and a pause or take a break. With 14 minute games and all the action, I think sevens is reeling (Americans) in."
Anne-Cecile Ciofani (France)
Ciofani's status in the game was recognised in 2021 when she was named the world's best women's sevens player.
She also represented France in the Tokyo Olympics that year, following in the footsteps of her parents.
Ciofani's father Walter Ciofani represented France in the hammer throw at the 1984 Olympics while mother Jeanne represented Cameroon in shot put and discus at the 1988 Olympics.
Perry Baker (USA)
Nicknamed 'Speedstick,' the 37-year-old flyer is still strutting his stuff on the world stage although he will miss the opening two rounds as the USA manage his workload ahead of France 2024.
Baker is third on the all-time men's sevens try scoring list, behind only Dan Norton (England) and Collins Injera (Kenya).
Baker was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011 but suffered a knee injury that cut short his NFL career.
Rosko Specman (South Africa)
With his distinctive hair and flamboyant attacking game, Specman is one of the most iconic players in sevens history.
He is making his return to the circuit for the first time since 2020 after enjoying a stint in XVs - playing one Test for the Springboks in 2021.
"Specmagic is back, yes, but that is not only me stepping and scoring tries. If this proves to be my last season of rugby, I want it to be one I will remember for the rest of my life."
Terry Kennedy (Ireland)
Ireland does not have a rich history in sevens but they are starting to make an impact in recent seasons.
Their men's star is Terry Kennedy, the world player of the year in 2022.
The speedster scored a remarkable 50 tries in the 2021-22 season.
Tyla Nathan-Wong (New Zealand)
The Kiwi playmaker was named world sevens player of the year in October after guiding New Zealand to their seventh series title.
Nathan-Wong will miss the opening two tournaments in 2023 as she completes her rugby league commitments.
Her grandfather David became the first Chinese person to play for the Auckland league team in 1967.
Rodrigo Isgro (Argentina)
It has been a busy year for Isgro, who was a member of Michael Cheika's Argentina team that finished fourth at this year's Rugby World Cup.
He then stayed in Paris to accept his award as the world's best men's sevens player for 2022-23.
Isgro was the second Argentine to win that award, following Marcos Moneta in 2021.
