‘Sour taste’ for Wallabies despite historic series win
The Wallabies have been left with a “sour taste in the mouth” after failing to put a 13-man Argentinian side away.
While Les Kiss’s men finished their two-week tour of Argentina unbeaten, the Wallabies were left to rue what might have been after being forced to settle for a 28-all draw in Mendoza. The draw came after last week’s 27-21 win in Jujuy.

Kiss happy with ‘a good result overall’
They say a draw is like kissing your sister and Wallabies coach Les Kiss is now coming to grips with that 28-28 result on Stan Sport.
“I think we’ve got to make sure we enjoy what we have achieved. That’s absolutely essential. Those sort of winning steps and getting trophies and that are all important things,” Kiss said.
“We need to be better in some areas, particularly a bit of game management, making sure we’re managing the game where we need to manage the game.
“At the moment we take control of the game, and then we seem to let it go away from us, take control back, let it go away from us a little bit, but you know, it’s a difficult team to play here, difficult conditions, but that’s a good result overall for our two Test matches here in Argentina.”

McReight grapples with mixed emotions
Star Wallabies flanker Fraser McReight is grappling with mixed emotions after a 28-28 draw.
“It was a tough battle out there, definitely,” he tells Stan Sport.
“We started really strong, and we were lucky right on that halftime break not to concede more points. You look at that second half, and it was quite up and down.
“We’re grateful that we maintained an unbeaten record for the past four weeks. But there is clearly a lot to work on there.”

Wallabies blow golden chance against 13 men
Australia has blown a golden chance against the 13-man Pumas, who somehow hold on for a 28-28 draw in Mendoza.
Argentina were bravely trying to run the ball out from their own 22 searching for a win but Nicolás Roger eventually boots it out and starts to cry.
On the plus side, the Wallabies have won a series in Argentina for the first time ever.
Les Kiss also remains unbeaten as Wallabies coach.

Ryan Lonergan is now playing at No.10 after Carter Gordon left the field.
Kalani Thomas is at halfback.
It’s still 28-28 after 77 minutes.
Wallabies awarded penalty try, Pumas down to 13!
The Wallabies have been awarded a penalty try and the Pumas are down to 13 as fullback Santiago Carreras is also punished for denying Australia a try with a lazy play at the ball.
Suddenly, it’s 28-28 with 10 minutes to play, and the Wallabies have two more men on the park!
