Priddis, WAGs shock at Brownlow
West Coast star Matt Priddis has stunned many by winning the AFL's Brownlow Medal.
His victory capped another memorable evening as the players' wives and girlfriends helped cement the Brownlow's reputation as the most glamorous night on Australia's sporting calendar.
Geoffrey Edelsten's fiancee Gabi Grecko provided the biggest shock, with a Lady Gaga inspired outfit rekindling memories of a plunging outfit worn by her husband's former wife, Brynne, at the same event five years ago.
Priddis polled 26 votes to finish ahead of the ineligible Nat Fyfe.
Gary Ablett led for most of the night, but missed the latter part of the year.
Ablett tied for runner-up with Sydney star Lance Franklin on 22 votes.
Geelong captain Joel Selwood was third with 21 votes.

The dramatic count capped an entertaining night, headlined by Gabi Grecko.
Her ensemble included jewels that fell from her eyes like tears.
It also featured a diamond encrusted choker.
