How Paralympics Australia is bringing fans to Paris from comfort of own home

Can't make it to Paris? The Paralympics have launched the next best thing to actually being in the stands in the flesh.
The 'green and gold virtual seat' campaign was launched to provide viewers an new experience that creates a more personal connection with the Games while remaining at home.
In 2020, Australians purchased more seats than the number of physical chairs in Tokyo's National Stadium, with 94,771 seats sold.

The efforts raised $2.37 million for the Paralympic team, providing support for the sporting organisation to help grow the opportunities available for our nation's athletes.
Helping to empower of today and tomorrow's Paralympians, Australians are encouraged to purchase a virtual seat to help raise funding and support for the team.

The virtual seat experience includes exclusive access to the virtual stadium, where you can witness the atmosphere and energy of the Games.
Virtual seats are available for purchase at donate.paralympic.org.au, with prices starting from $25.
Every dollar is invested in the supporting the next generation of Paralympians.
A total 160 Australian Paralympians will compete across 17 sports in Paris.
The opening ceremony will kick the event off on August 29 (AEST).
