Round 22 NRL tips: Andrew Johns backs grim Broncos trend to continue in Queensland derby

League legend Andrew Johns is backing the Broncos nightmare to continue this week with a loss in the southern Queensland derby.
Brisbane's victory over Newcastle a fortnight ago is the club's sole win since May 17.
Since beating Manly in round 11, the Broncos have had two byes and lost seven games.

Following a brutal loss to the Bulldogs in round 21 the Red Hill club sits 13th on the ladder and will need to be almost perfect to make the finals.
It's a miserable turn of events for the team that narrowly lost a grand final last October.

The Titans beat their "big brother" Broncos 36-34 last time they met, in round 12.
They meet again on the glitter strip on Saturday in a game the Broncos need to win to keep their slim finals hopes alive.

Johns, though, is backing Gold Coast to get the job done again.
Other legends like Darren Lockyer, Wally Lewis, Ruan Sims, and Brad Fittler are tipping the Broncos to bounce back to some form with a victory.
