We look at all 17 teams and nominate their X-factor player for 2025.
TIGERS

There's no denying LATRELL MITCHELL had a mixed season in 2024, but master coach Wayne Bennett's return to Redfern will ensure the star fullback is fit and focused in the coming year.
And that could spell big, big trouble for rival clubs in the league.

The 2023 grand final proved there is no better clutch player in the game than NATHAN CLEARY.

EELS
The Eels have strike power all over the field but powerhouse forward J'MAINE HOPGOOD is the guy who comes up with the massive effort plays that can lift the team.
One of the game's big improvers, he's set for a massive 2025.
COWBOYS
Big, strong and fast, JEREMIAH NANAI is the prototype modern-day forward.
He's a dynaic runner out wide and has a knack of snatching bombs for tries.
Can change a game in the blink of an eye.
KNIGHTS
Skipper KALYN PONGA is in the top three highest paid players in the game - and he earns every cent of it.
The skipper often carries the team on his back and when a big play is needed, he is the go-to man every time.
STORM
He struggles to make the starting side, but when Craig Bellamy is looking for a player to blast open a close game, he turns to exciting youngster SUA FA'AlOGO from the bench.
Quick, versatile and cocky, he can come in and turn a match on its head.
