The Mole's Team of the Week: 'How the Roosters could use' gun who put his old side to the sword
The Mole's Team of the Week
Another round of footy is in the books, with just one team remaining undefeated after a month of action.
Gold Coast continued their winning ways, with one ex-Rooster putting his former club to the sword.
Elsewhere, two Bulldogs stars put their side on top of the ladder in a dominant win over the highly-fancied Sharks.
Scroll on to see who made The Mole's Team of the Week for round four.
1. Jye Gray (Rabbitohs)
Put the pressure on Wayne Bennett to keep him at fullback when Latrell returns with another brilliant display at the back in the shock win over Penrith.
2. Murray Taulagi (Cowboys)
A try, two line breaks and nearly 200 run metres as the Cowboys opened their account for 2025 against the Raiders.
3. Gehamat Shibasaki (Broncos)
Underrated player is thriving under Michael Maguire, with two tries and three line breaks in horrible conditions in the derby defeat of the Dolphins.
4. Valentine Holmes (Dragons)
Scored his first Red V try, led his team in run metres and kicked well for goal in the upset win over the Storm.
5. Bronson Xerri (Bulldogs)
Played centre but gets a wing spot for his two try, two line break display against the strong Sharks backline.
6. Jake Clifford (Cowboys)
Played in the No.7 jumper but has to be in the team after two tries and a host of big plays to lead the Cowboys to victory over the Raiders.
7. Jayden Campbell (Titans)
Led the Friday night ambush at Allianz, scoring a clever intercept try, running more metres than any other Gold Coast player and kicking well.
8. Fonua Pole (Tigers)
Outstanding in a beaten team against the Warriors. Scored a vital try, made a line break and led his team in yardage.
9. Sam Verrills (Titans)
Classy dummy-half had a night out against his former club with try two assists and two line break assists. How the Roosters could use him back now.
