With the minor premiership officially awarded to the Melbourne Storm, there is one man standing in the way of Penrith's fourth successive premiership title.
Let's see who made the cut in The Mole's Team of the Week.
1. Heath Mason (Wests Tigers)
Put under immense pressure by Manly but after a shaky start, the pint-sized utility shone in the massive upset win by the Tigers, scoring a determined try and making a line break.
2. Xavier Savage (Raiders)
Zoomed over for the first and last tries as Canberra scored a shock win over Penrith in one of the fightbacks of the season on Saturday afternoon.
3. Kotoni Staggs (Broncos)
Showed once again that on his day, he is among the game's most devastating ball runners. Scored a vital try and made several telling bursts in the Broncos' comeback win over the Eels.
4. Dane Gagai (Knights)
Had his best game of an up and down season in the win over the Rabbitohs on Saturday night, scoring two tries and constantly testing out the Souths defence out wide.
5. Alofiana Khan-Pereira (Titans)
His team got smashed by the Roosters but he still managed three tries, including a 90 metre classic. The best finisher in the game in 2024.
6. Lachie Galvin (Tigers)
The exciting rookie gave a five-star performance in the shock win over Manly, showing great maturity to steer the Tigers around the park and lay on tries with pin-point passes.
7. Jahrome Hughes (Storm)
The NRL's form halfback continued his magnificent run with two try assists and two line breaks, scoring a try for good measure. Shapes as the man between Penrith and a fourth straight premiership.
8. Joseph Tapine (Raiders)
The most dangerous forward on the field in Canberra's shock win over Penrith on Saturday afternoon, turning the tide for the home side with a try assist and some big runs.
9. Blayke Brailey (Sharks)
Shone at dummy-half for Cronulla in their big win over the Dragons in the local derby on Sunday, getting the Sharks on the front foot, running for over 100 metres and topping the tackle count.
