Tom Duffy made the halfback jersey his own against the Storm.

Reece Robson was full of praise for the youngster.

"He's had a great pre season, and a great couple of years with Northern Pride up there and really learnt his craft," he told Fox League.

"It was good for him to get an opportunity here today and definitely did his chances really well, he was calm under pressure for us ... I thought he went really well today."

Young half Keagan Russell-Smith has put the Storm back on the board.

His dummy fooled Jaxson Paulo and he just had the line to reach after breaking the defence.

That makes it Melbourne's third try of the afternoon.

There's been a mix-up at the back after Coby Williamson and Hugo Peel both went for the ball.

Peel came off second best and was on the ground for a significant period of time.

"That was an awkward, uncomfortable moment," Mick Ennis said on Fox League.

A significant stoppage came with Peel taken away by an ambulance.

Fox League then reported it was precautionary.

Melbourne's defence is looking really clunky.

The Cowboys went down the right edge again and cut them to pieces.
