Broncos rocked as injuries sideline star trio Reece Walsh, Ben Hunt and Adam Reynolds

Reece Walsh has been ruled out for up to six weeks, Ben Hunt six to eight weeks and Adam Reynolds one to two weeks as the Broncos count the cost of a 26-12 win over the Titans on Easter Saturday.

The Broncos confirmed superstar fullback Walsh had suffered a fractured cheekbone when he went low to tackle Kurtis Morrin in his 100th NRL game — a blow that resulted in a failed head injury assessment and put him in hospital.

Brisbane also confirmed Hunt would miss six to eight weeks with a grade-three medial collateral ligament tear and Reynolds one to two weeks with a grade-two adductor longus strain, more commonly referred to as a groin strain.

Reynolds went off with a "tender" groin in the 25th minute at the Gold Coast's Cbus Super Stadium and the captain didn't return.

The skipper was replaced at halfback by Hunt, who played out the game but said at full-time he had "stretched" his medial ligament.

Ezra Mam was seen limping at stages throughout the match and coach Michael Maguire said the five-eighth had "a few bangs and bumps", but the word out of the Broncos camp on Easter Sunday was the five-eighth was injury-free.

Mam played 80 minutes and was one of the Broncos' best, making two line breaks, setting up two tries and scoring one himself.

Walsh shared videos of himself in hospital on his Instagram and Snapchat accounts. He then deleted them as they showed him inhaling a green whistle, which was for pain relief.

The Clive Churchill Medal winner also posted a collection of photos on Instagram, including a picture of him hugging his daughter in hospital, captioned: "My people."

The first test for Brisbane in this injury-hit period is a clash with North Queensland at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night, followed by matches against Wests Tigers, Canterbury and the Roosters.

Maguire had high praise for his battered team on Saturday night.

"I'm just really proud of how they've been fighting through this period of time," Maguire said of his Broncos, who've now won three games on the trot.

"They showed their resolve and what they're capable of and they had to do that tonight. It was pretty busy on the sideline but to the credit of the players and just how they are as a group at the moment — super proud of how they want to work hard for each other."

Maguire noted the depth of his roster.

"We've got a squad. We all talk about the squad," he said.

"Tonight, Reyno [Reynolds] went off and Reecey [Walsh] went off and you've still got to perform, and that's the expectation that the leaders have and we have as the group. We've got depth in the club. The clubs work really hard to make sure they have that depth, so we'll just call upon that."

When Walsh went off injured, Jesse Arthars moved from the left wing to fullback and Antonio Verhoeven replaced Arthars on the wing, making his NRL debut.

Maguire said he could either go with Arthars or Hayze Perham at fullback against North Queensland at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.
