Podcast hosts 'unreservedly apologise' after episode featuring exiled Panthers player Taylan May
A popular rugby league podcast has been forced to apologise after having exiled NRL player Taylan May as a guest.
May, 23, left the Panthers last month after reportedly reaching a confidential settlement with the club.
He remains stood down under the NRL's no-fault stand-down policy after being charged with domestic violence offences.

May has pleaded not guilty to stalking and three counts of domestic violence. His case is adjourned until March.
On Sunday evening, the Let's Trot podcast Instagram account posted a teaser to an episode featuring May.

On Monday it was taken down and replaced by a statement.
"A preview for an upcoming episode with Taylan May was posted via social media on Sunday night and was removed shortly after," the statement said.
"To clarify, this episode was football focused and our platform was not used to express opinion or deliver messages regarding Taylan's personal life in any way.

"We unreservedly apologise for an oversight and lack of perspective on the sensitivites surrounding Taylan and not allowing process to takes its place first for all parties concerned.
"We appreciate that our audience understands this was completely unintentional and (we) acknowledge the timing of this was not right."
Also on Monday, podcast host and retired NRL player Josh Mansour posted a video message on his personal Instagram account.
"I wanted to personally come on here and address last night's post regarding Taylan May and the Let's Trot show," Mansour said.
"I wholeheartedly apologise for the lack of foresight and timing to interview Taylan, especially before court proceedings could take place.
"My intention was to get a better understanding of Taylan as a person and his upbringing around rugby league.
"The timing was poor, and it was poor judgement on my behalf, and I own that.
"Given the allegations, please understand I would never condone domestic violence in any shape or form.
"I will learn from this and be more aware next time, and hope my community can forgive me."
