NRL Sharks vs Dragons LIVE: Bird reflects after milestone
In Jack Bird's 150th match, the Dragons were unable to come away with a win for the former Origin star.
Despite the disappointment of the result, Bird was in a reflective mood on his career with game 150 a massive achievement considering the injury history he's had.
"It's been a tough journey, obviously it's taken some time to get here. I've played first grade for 10 years and only got 150 (games so far). when you think about it, it's been tough," he told Nine's coverage.
"I'm happy I finally got here and there's nothing better than playing at Shark Park where it all started. It's unfortunate we didn't get the win but I'm just grateful to be back on the field and getting to the 150 mark."

NRL Sunday LIVE: Fifita's shock Penrith meeting revealed
David Fifita could be set to move states after revelations he is set to meet with Penrith.
9news and Sydney Morning Herald reporter Michael Chammas told Nine's coverage the State of Origin second-rower has flown to Sydney and will discuss a potential deal with Ivan Cleary.
It comes after James Fisher-Harris signed with the Warriors, giving the Panthers plenty of money to offer Fifita.
"They've expressed interest in his services, it hasn't gone to the point of an offer but they do want to meet with David Fifita to discuss his motivation for potentially leaving the Gold Coast Titans," Chammas said.
"They do have close to a $1 million in the salary cap now available to them."
Fifita re-signed with the Titans last year but a clause in his contract means he can trigger an option by round 10.
