Two more games tomorrow - the Knights host the Titans and the Roosters host the Raiders.

SJ ices career with fairytale win

Damien McCartney

WHAT A FINISH!

Shaun Johnson has taken the Warriors to a fairytale win over the Sharks at Shark Park.

With their final play of the night, Johnson threw a bullet pass to Dallin Watene-Zelezniak to score.

What a moment for one of the nice guys of the game.

"That's magic. What a wonderful way to end your career, setting up a match-winning try, in the shadows of the siren," Phil Gould said in commentary for Nine.

Johnson was clearly emotional as he lined up the kick. Gus said he was never going to kick it - the emotions will be too high.

And he was right, the kick goes away to the right and that's the end of that.

The Warriors win 30-28.

Sharks back in front

Damien McCartney

The Warriors lead was short lived.

Having been denied earlier, Stonestreet finally has his second of the night. Trindall nailed the kick to give his side the lead.

Two points in it with under 10 to play. We're in for a thriller!

Warriors in front!

With the advantage, Marcelo Montoya has scored and all of a sudden the Warriors have hit the front!

Talk about doing something special! How have the bounced back?

SJ made the kick they lead 26-22.

Gus rips NRL after Iro binned

Damien McCartney

There's been a brouhaha, and it's over a high shot.

Tom Hazelton was put on report for a high shot earlier when the player was slipping over.

A few minutes later, DWZ is slipping over and was cleaned up by Kayal Iro. There was a heap of push me, shove you, and then the Bunker stepped in.

Iro was sent to the bin, which enraged the home fans.

But in the box, Phil Gould said neither should have been sanctioned.

"And that's a sin bin? There you go. They need to sort this out before September, because it's got to ridiculous proportions. This has been going on for a few weeks, but it's got ridiculous.

"Coaches, fans, players are all frustrated, and they don't know how to get themselves out of it."

With a player in the bin, the Warriors have scored again through Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad and lead is down to two!

DWZ scores 100th

Damien McCartney

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has gone bang-bang for the Wahs, and in doing so has scored his 100th NRL try.

He's the second player to have brought up the milestone today - Maika Sivo did it earlier today in the Eels win over the Dragons.

SJ's kicking radar is a bit off tonight though - he's missed his second. It's four tries to three, and kicks could become a big difference in the back-end of this one.

DWZ opens second half scoring

Damien McCartney

Well the Sharks have had two tries denied now by the bunker - the Hynes one and a second one to Stonestreet for a knock-on back upfield.

And so it's the Warriors that get on the board first in this second half through DWZ. SJ added the extras.

I tell you want though - this is a flat game of footy.

Obstruction denied Hynes comeback try

Damien McCartney

Nicho Hynes looked to have opened the scoring in the second half, but the try has been disallowed through an obstruction.

Replays showed Royce Hunt stopped in the line, and Kurt Capewell had to step around him to have a shot at Hynes.

"Fair enough ... (Capewell) didn't milk it though," Andrew Johns said in commentary for Nine.

That's not something we see often enough.

Back underway

Damien McCartney

We're back underway at Shark Park - just 40 minutes left in Shaun Johnson's stunning career.

Can the Warriors do something special and grind out a win?

'I've had enough': Furious Flanno storms out of presser

Damien McCartney

A furious Shane Flanagan has stormed out of his post-match press conference following his side's record-breaking loss to the Eels.

The Dragons were woeful for the first hour, and trailed 44-12 with 10 minutes left in the match before mounting what would have been the biggest ever comeback to go down 44-40.

Speaking to media after the match, the coach ripped his troops, and apologised to the club's fans and sponsors.
