Good night!

Damien McCartney

Thanks for joining us for night one of Magic Round.

Join us again tomorrow for three more cracking matches.

The Warriors and Panthers kick us off, before the Sharks take on the Dolphins.

Arguably the match of the round will close Magic Saturday, when the Storm take on the Rabbitohs.

See you tomorrow.

Sea Eagles vs Broncos LIVE | Broncos hold on

A week after going down to the Bunnies to the same scoreline, the Broncos have bounced back to beat the Rabbitohs 32-6.

Manly were never in the contest, the Broncos running in six tries to one.

We said Tommy Turbo had been having a quiet night, but he can't go a full 80 mins without a try-assist.

He doesn't get to the line himself, but throws a great ball to his brother Ben who scores in the corner.

Reuben Garrick kicks the extra two from bang on the sideline - a fantastic kick.

Meanwhile, Kurt Capewell has come from the ground for a HIA.

Footage showed he copped a stray elbow from Haumole Olakau'atu as the ruck went to the ground, triggering a cascade of claret from his nose. Ouch.

Sea Eagles vs Broncos LIVE | Fairnworth on the board

Well after a half-hour of genuinely gripping footy, Manly heads have dropped and they've conceded two in the space of a couple of minutes.

The Dolphins-bound Herbie Farnworth barged his way over from dummy half.

Reynolds nails the kick from about 10 in from the sideline - this is becoming quite the boost to the Broncos for-and-against.

They lead 32-0.

Sea Eagles vs Broncos LIVE | Cobbo picks up a hattrick

Damien McCartney

We jinxed that.

Again, on the Broncos 20m line, Manly have coughed up the pill.

Cobbo makes a brilliant intercept and runs 80m to score under the posts, and in the process ticks the Broncos past a club milestone.

They've now scored 20,000 points in the NRL.

Reynolds kick is good and the lead is now 26-0.

Sea Eagles vs Broncos LIVE | Broncos defence still stands

Damien McCartney

Still, the Sea Eagles continue to pepper the Broncos defence, and still it remains strong.

Although a steady stream of errors is making Brisbane's lives easier.

There has been no further scoring in the half-hour since half time.

The Broncos don't seem to have the same attack they had in the first half.

He is on the field, but you'd be forgiven for not knowing. I haven't written his name all evening, and he's just airmailed a pass into the third row of the stands.

"I am Tom Trbojevic's biggest fan but tonight he doesn't look right. He has seriously almost been a passenger for a lot of the game," Paul Vautin said in commentary for Nine.

"I don't want to sound too harsh ... but Tom is just not the player that we know he can be. He is obviously not 100 per cent. He is out there doing his best, but he just lacks the flair tonight."

Trbojevic didn't play against the Titans last weekend after suffering an adductor injury in their win over the Tigers the week before.

He's clearly still carrying some soreness tonight.

Sea Eagles vs Broncos LIVE | Sea Eagles dominate first 10 minutes

The boys from Manly - technically the home side tonight - have enjoyed all the possession and field position early in this second half, but the Broncos defence has so far proved too good.

But it's been a marked improvement from Anthony Seibold's men from their first half effort, on his return to Suncorp.

Can the Sea Eagles find anything in this second half?

Fatty hopes so. 40 mins to go.

Sea Eagles vs Broncos LIVE | Fatty goes postal at 'awful' Manly

Damien McCartney

The Broncos are running riot at Suncorp, but this time it's Jesse Arthars on their other wing with the chocolates.

The try came off a Manly forward pass - their ninth error of the night. It drew a great spray from Fatty - himself a Manly legend - in the Nine box.

"They couldn't play any worse if they tried. They drop the ball. Goes into touch. Forward pass. They need half time quickly. No more points," he said.

"You know, [if] they settle down and play some just decent Rugby League in the second half, they can get back into it."

But then Arthars scored off some pretty ordinary defence from Jason Saab, and Fatty was off again.

"I do not understand why Jason Saab had to rush in off his wing then. There was one on one, it was four on four the whole way. He just rushed in to take the man, and the centre inside of him had him marked ... Hello? Space ... Run to it, champion. Why did he rush in? He was marked. Million-to-one shot," he said.

"That was Koula's man; he had him covered," Cameron Smith added.

But Fatty had the last line.

"That is wood duck play. That is awful."

Reynolds' kick is no good, and the half-time lead is 20-0.

Jason Saab copped a spray from Paul Vautin for coming off his line and conceding a try against the Broncos.
