FULL TIME - Raiders hold on in thriller
Canberra has held off a late fightback to beat the Roosters 22-16 despite a couple of errors at the death.
The Raiders looked like blowing a solid half-time lead for the umpteenth time - they've become known as "the faders" as a result of the unflattering habit over the last few years.
The Chooks scored two quick tries in the second half and it looked like the same old story was unfolding in the nation's capital.
But a try to Matt Timoko pushed the lead back out to six points, and that's where it stayed.
A missed conversion from Jamal Fogarty and a missed field goal attempt from Matt Frawley could have cost the Raiders dearly, but they were able to hold out the Chooks in a last-play thriller.
"You don't get better Sunday entertainment than that - right down to the wire," Phil Gould said.
"Great spirit, great club spirit from the Raiders today."

Ryan Sutton gets the late offload away, it hits the ground but young gun fullback Xavier Savage somehow picks it off his bootlaces and dives over the line.
"In these conditions, that is as good as it gets," Andrew Johns said of Savage's work.
"At full pace... he doesn't miss a stride."

Raiders vs Roosters LIVE - tempers flare
No points yet but tensions are high in the nation's capital.
Hudson Young gave Fletcher Baker a shove in the head, and was subsequently pushed over as repercussion.
Baker was then levelled by Corey Horsburgh as several players came in to cool the scuffle.
Speaking of cool - Canberra is 9-degrees at the moment, but apparently it feels like 1-degrees.
