NRL contact breakers: time to end the 'rort'
The NRL season only ended two months ago, but the volume of under contract players switching clubs has left fans disillusioned.
Manly's Anthony Watmough, Newcastle's Darius Boyd and Dragon Brett Morris all gained early releases to join rivals, while others like Brisbane's Ben Barba, Josh Hoffman and Martin Kennedy were sent packing.
The high turnover has prompted Broncos coach Wayne Bennett to demand a transfer window to end the free-for-all "rort".
