LeBron 'breaks protocol' by touching Royals
He may be basketball's so-called 'King', but that doesn't mean that LeBron James can get away with everything.
After performing in front of - and then meeting the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - James placed his arm around Princess Kate, sparking a firestorm in Britain that he'd broken royal protocol.
Royal aides, however, have been quick to dismiss the accusation, saying the Prince and Princess want people to feel comfortable around them and the NBA superstar had done nothing wrong.
James brought the royals two jerseys, including one for the expectant couple's second child.
The royal couple had earlier shared popcorn as they watched LeBron in action.
LeBron also spent time with music royalty, Jay Z and Beyonce.
Kate spoke with a modern-day queen, musician Beyonce.
"It was an honour that I was the guy they (the royals) wanted to watch," James said.
"It felt pretty good and they brought luck to us," LeBron added.
It was the Cavs' season-high seventh straight victory.
James chose the occasion to don a "I can't breathe" shirt in warm-ups...
