Supporters all over the world are thrilled each and every week as they watch the best go at it. To celebrate all that's great about sport, here are the biggest hits from the week that was.The Matildas became the most successful Australian side in World Cup history after they moved into the quarter finals with a 1-0 victory against Brazil.

The Matildas held out their far more fancied opponents with some stirring rear-guard action before substitute Kyah Simon scored in the 80th minute.

Masters champion Jordan Spieth has the chance to win a historic grand slam after winning the US Open by one stroke at Chambers Bay.
Choke of the year
Spieth claimed the second major of the year after compatriot Dustin Johnson produced one of the game's greatest meltdowns on the final hole, putting for an eagle and victory only to walk off with a par and a share of second.
Brave Day
Spieth's win also ended the heroic run of Jason Day, the Australian collapsing in the second round from vertigo only to see his chances of glory slipping away late in the final round.
Soaring Sea Eagles
The Sea Eagles kicked off round 15 with an impressive 30-20 win over the Wests Tigers.
Deal breaker
And the news only got better for Manly fans with reports emerging Kieran Foran is set to walk away from his contract with the Eels.
Dangerous tackle
However, Blues fans were left holding their breaths after backrower Josh Jackson was put on report for a lifting tackle on Panthers' Jamie Soward.
In the clear
But Jackson successfully had his charge downgraded to a one-match ban, freeing him to play in the State of Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium.
