Johnson in good company after 300th wicket

Mitchell Johnson has joined exalted company after taking his 300th Test wicket in the third Ashes Test.
He becomes the fifth Australian in the 300 club along with Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee and Dennis Lillee, who said Johnson was a once in a generation talent with the ball after watching him as a teenager.
It is just reward for the intimidating left-armer, who battled his way back to be the spearhead of the Australian attack in 2014 after injury and a lack of confidence appeared to have prematurely ended his career.
The big wicket arrived with trademark brutality wit Johnny Bairstow the victim.
Shane Warne took 708 wickets in 145 Tests at an average of 25.41.
Glenn McGrath finished with 563 wickets at 21.64 after 124 Tests.
Dennis Lillee took 355 Test wickets in 70 Tests at an average of 23.92.
