Giroud apologises for model's late night visit
Arsenal's star striker Olivier Giroud has issued an embarrassing public apology after a glamour model released a photo of the married Frenchman in his underwear hours before a crucial premiership match with Crystal Palace.
The six-foot four French international had earlier denied that he had allowed Celia Kay to visit his London hotel, avoiding a rumoured $425,000 fine for breaching team rules, The Telegraph reports.

The claims involing Kay come at a crucial time for the Gunners.
The model has criticised Giroud for denying they had met.
"Olivier knows the truth and the fact that he lied about us is pathetic," she told The Sun.
"He's just digging a bigger hole for himself," she added.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has not commented, saying he respects Giroud's privacy.
