Who's next? Australia out to repeat recent history against France
With their corresponding round of 16 match complete, the Matildas will face France in the quarter finals of the FIFA Women's World Cup, in a repeat of Australia's "send off" match last month.
The Matildas last met France on Bastille Day, a week out from the start of the tournament.
In front of 50,629 at Marvel Stadium, the Matildas trumped Les Bleus with a 1-0 victory, with the game's only goal scored by attacking midfielder Mary Fowler in the 66th minute.

The French qualified for the quarter finals with a dominant 4-0 victory over Morocco on Tuesday. Earlier in the tournament, France secured a draw with Jamaica and wins against Brazil and Panama in the group stage to top Group F with seven points.
Australia advanced to the quarter finals after goals to Caitlin Foord and Hayley Raso shot the Matildas to a 2-0 victory over Denmark on Monday.
If the Matildas can overcome world No.5 France, they will play the winner of England and Colombia's upcoming quarter final for a place in the World Cup final on Sunday, August 20.
This would see the home side face off against Spain, Netherlands, Japan or world No. 3 Sweden for the trophy.
Australia will meet France in the quarter final on Saturday, August 12, at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium.
