Ex-AFL star Tuck KO'd in boxing debut
Former Richmond player Shane Tuck was taken to hospital after being knocked out during his professional boxing debut.
Tuck, who played 173 games for the Tigers before retiring at the end of the 2013 season, had entered the ring with high hopes for a new career.
But his dream was dashed with a hard right to the chin from Lucas Miller that saw Tuck crumple to the canvas.
Tuck was apprently sitting up and talking minutes later.
Ready to rumble. Tuck looked the part earli in the bout.
He traded blows with Miller as he attempted to land a huge hit.
He regularly threw right upper-cuts.
But as the fight wore on, Tuck wore out.
There was clearly concern from his corner.
... and celebrated as the referee ended the fight.
Tuck stayed down in the care of his concerned support team.
He was taken out of the ring on a stretcher.
