Potts drops it in short outside off-stump and Head dispatches it the boundary.

Marnus adds another boundary, timing it perfectly through cover as Potts continues to struggle in his first taste of Test cricket on Australian soil.

Marnus punches a half-volley from Carse through the off-side for a couple of runs.

"Just a bit too wayward and erratic," Adam Gilchrist said on Fox Cricket.

He takes on Potts as well from the next over, adding another four runs to his tally.

Aussies have all the momentum right now at the SCG.

SCG: It looks like rain is on the way again.

Marnus cops a nasty blow to the hand and takes a breathe, but manages to shake it off.

"It looks like the mid-section of the thumb was a little bit tender," Adam Gilchrist said at the drinks break on Fox Cricket.

Big shout from Carse for lbw but the umpire says Marnus is not out.

"That's tight I reckon," Brett Lee said on Fox Cricket.

England send the decision upstairs and it sticks with the original decision as ball tracking shows it was missing leg-stump.

Labuschagne survives for now.
