Matt Renshaw set for long-awaited ODI debut as Australia names short-form squads for India series
Australia has named its squad for the ODI and T20 series against India, with Matt Renshaw selected to return to the national setup.
Renshaw hasn't debuted in ODI cricket but was in an Australian squad in 2022.
In the 2024/25 One-Day Cup season, Renshaw was second on the list of runscorers with 305 at 50.83.

He followed that up with 106 and 62. Renshaw also scored a ton in the first round of the Sheffield Shield.
Mitch Starc will return to the ODI squad along with Matt Short. Starc recently retired from T20I cricket.
Josh Inglis and Nathan Ellis are both back in the T20 squad too. Cameron Green has been named for the ODIs but won't play the 20-over format. The preference for him is to play in the Sheffield Shield as he prepares to bowl with no restrictions by the start of The Ashes.
"We have named a squad for the ODI series and first two games of the T20 series as there will be some management through the back end of the series as individuals prepare for the summer through Sheffield Shield cricket," chairman of selectors, George Bailey, said in a statement.
"The majority of the T20 squad will remain together as it's an important period in the build towards the World Cup next year, however we are trying to strike a balance to ensure we simultaneously prepare certain individuals for the Test series ahead."
