'I blew up': Glenn Maxwell lifts the lid on turbulent path to finding peace with Justin Langer
Glenn Maxwell's relationship with Justin Langer has never been simple.
From explosive arguments to accusations of faking injuries, Maxwell is proud to finally be on level grounds with the former Australian coach.
But their past is one the batting sensation is not afraid to discuss.

"That was a bit of a low point," Maxwell told The Sydney Morning Herald.
The end of the 2019-20 Big Bash League season was one that derailed Maxwell's plans of touring in the baggy green.
Nearing the end of the match against the Sixers, Maxwell - playing for the Stars - suffered an elbow injury that would rule him out of contention for the upcoming South Africa tour.
Following medical advice, Maxwell was required to undergo surgery for a loose bone and cartilage in his elbow.
"I went to the doctor and said 'I'm not sure about this but my elbow can't straighten'," Maxwell recalled.
"He had a look at it and said 'you need surgery as soon as possible'.
"It was the day before the AB Medal, and I went and told Trevor Hohns, he was brilliant about it, 'completely understand, it's a shame we won't have you there, you might want to have a chat to JL'."

His conversation with Langer was one that exploded at the Allan Border Medal evening, with Maxwell later stepping away from the sport to focus on his health.
Langer had accused his Australian batter of "engineering" an elbow injury in the later end of the BBL season as Maxwell had previously expressed interest in attending a friend's wedding.
"So I spoke to him and then yeah, he went pretty hard," he said.
"I blew up. 'Are you saying I've faked an injury?' I said, probably with several expletives in there for decoration.
"He was not very pleased. He brought up the wedding, putting it to me directly that I had engineer missing the tour, and adding that my first games back for Australia should have been the priority."
Maxwell revealed the advice to receive immediate surgery on his elbow was given by Cricket Australia's medical team, who said he would be unable to bat properly if he did not seek help.
"I didn't know whether I should apologise or just walk away. It made it really awkward from then on in," he added.
Maxwell's baggy green failed to be worn in the following series, with Langer opting to omit the star despite expectation for a triumphant return to the order.
"It was such a cruel blow and underpinned with such dishonesty," Maxwell said.
"I'd been denied the chance to bolster my case in England, denied the A tour because I was deemed too senior, and after all that got the kick in the teeth.
"It was handled abysmally by all involved.
"The year that promised so much instead left me empty."
