Cowboys' Thurston wins greatest grand final

Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
Cowboys skipper Johnathan Thurston has won the greatest grand final ever after kicking a dramatic, golden point field goal to beat the Brisbane Broncos, 17-16.
The epic decider was nearly won moments before when Thurston hit the upright with a conversion shot after the siren, but he only needed one more chance to seal North Queensland's maiden title.
The first all-Queensland grand final was an enthralling clash that will live long in the memory.
