Aussie keeper Nevill's long road to Test arena

It's been a long road from battling Victorian wicketkeeper and NSW back-up to Test selection for Peter Nevill.
Five years ago, the then 24-year-old considered quitting the game as he sat so far down the pecking order that a Test call-up seemed impossible.
Now, through a cruel twist of fate to veteran keeper Brad Haddin the little known Melbourne-born gloveman will make his debut against England in the Second Test at Lord's to become Australia's 33rd Test wicketkeeper.
Here are a few facts behind the man.
But battling to make the Blues second XI in 2010 he considered quitting the game.
Brad Haddin took him under his wing with the pair playing together at club level.
Nevill struggled with the bat early on after moving to Sydney.
But has now scored six first class tons and last year averaged 76 in Sheffield Shield.
Most importantly, his glovework is exceptional. He snared 34 Shield dismissals last season.
In 55 first class matches he has claimed 165 catches and 10 stumpings.
And has formed a solid partnership with the likes of Nathan Lyon at state level.
He's already faced England in an Aussie invitational XI in 2013.
And kept for Australia in its recent tour match against Essex.
