'Amazing': North Melbourne debutant's nanna tears up as teenager slots first career goal
North Melbourne hasn't had much to celebrate this season, but the debut of Cooper Trembath has certainly warmed hearts.
The 19-year-old played his first AFL game on Sunday for Roos in Canberra against GWS, with his family and, in particular, his nan making the trip.
And when Trembath kicked his first career goal early in the game, teammates came from everywhere to celebrate with him.

Meanwhile nan in the crowd was moved to tears, receiving a group hug from the rest of the family.
Veteran AFL broadcaster Anthony Hudson provided a hilarious anecdote, revealing nan was particularly excited to meet former Bulldog and current North Melbourne defender Caleb Daniel before the game.
"She's a 50-year Western Bulldogs supporter and as excited as she was for young Cooper, the highlight of today was being able to meet Caleb Daniel," Hudson said.
Naturally, Hawthorn champion Dermott Brereton feels that first goal will surpass the excitement of meeting Daniel.
"Isn't it amazing what this sport does to people. Good on ya, nan," Brereton said.
Trembath kicked his second early in the third quarter and nan got up and about again, giving him a standing ovation.
The Roos grabbed the teenager in this year's mid-season draft out of their own VFL team, after he was overlooked in the national draft.
Despite spending the majority of the last few years playing in defence, Trembath earned his AFL opportunity with a few strong weeks of form playing forward.
