Brownlow Medal live updates: Daicos dominating as Heeney climbs leaderboard

Another three votes for Nick Daicos, just as Zak Butters pulled closer again.

You have to wonder whether umpires gaining access to the votes has just inflated votes going to the players winning the most ball.

It’s also removed some of the howler votes that were always funny, like the Petracca-Nasiah situation last year.

Isaac Heeney is polling well and sits equal fourth, but certainly won’t poll well enough to out-pace Nick Daicos from here.

So at the very least, the league’s worst case scenario is not going to happen.
