2024 - Patrick Cripps, Carlton
Patrick Cripps won his second Brownlow Medal at the 2024 event.
By winning it twice, he becomes the 13th V/AFL player to become a dual Brownlow medallist.
Among the other 12 are Adam Goodes, Chris Judd, Gary Ablett, Lachie Neale, Nat Fyfe and many more.
2023 - Lachie Neale, Brisbane Lions

2022 - Patrick Cripps, Carlton
Patrick Cripps won the 2022 Brownlow Medal in controversial circumstances after he was suspended in round 21 for rough conduct.
Carlton appealed the suspension and had it overturned.
Cripps finished with 29 votes, one ahead of Lachie Neale.
2021 - Ollie Wines, Port Adelaide
In 2021, Ollie Wines equalled Dustin Martin's record for most votes polled with the 3-2-1 season.
The midfielder finished with 36 while Marcus Bontompelli had 33.
2020 - Lachie Neale, Brisbane Lions
Lachie Neale finished 10 votes ahead of Travis Boak in 2020 to win the Brownlow.
Neale's tally of 31 votes from only 17 matches in the shortened 2020 season set a new record for most votes per game under the 3-2-1 system.
Dirk Reynolds had previously polled 27 from 15 games in 1937.
2019 - Nat Fyfe, Fremantle Dockers
Nat Fyfe claimed his second Brownlow Medal in 2019.
Fremantle finished 13th that year.
2018 - Tom Mitchell, Hawthorn Hawks

Mitchell finished four votes ahead of Steele Sidebottom.
2017 - Dustin Martin, Richmond Tigers
Patrick Dangerfield's record for most votes only lasted a year with Dustin Martin's 36 votes earning him the title and Brownlow Medal.
2016 - Patrick Dangerfield, Geelong Cats
In 2016, Patrick Dangerfield broke Dane Swan's record for most votes by any player under the 3-2-1 voting system.
Dangerfield won the Brownlow with 35 votes while Luke Parker was second on 26.
