Woolworths announces new collectables range

Off the back of their successful Ooshies collectables campaign, Woolworths has just announced they will be launching a new series.

It's called 'Discovery Garden' and features a variety of seed packets children can grow in their own home.

The range is out in September, with Woolies saying the range will give "Australians of all ages the opportunity to grow their very own fresh food".

Discovery Garden is based on 'Little Garden' which has been hugely successful in New Zealand.

"We are excited to give Australians the opportunity to engage in the program and look forward to sharing more details of what customers can expect closer to the launch date," a Woolworths spokesperson said.

Both Coles and Woolworths launched their winter ranges of collectables to huge success, with Coles repeating their 'Little Shop' range and Woolworths teaming up with Disney's The Lion King to offer Ooshies to children.

Retailers hosted 'collectable swapping' sessions at popular stores to help families complete their collections before they wrap up.
