A savvy bride scored two of her dream wedding gowns for a total of US$8 (approx. $11.16), with her complete ceremony look drawing comparisons to the Duchess of Sussex's elaborate Givenchy ensemble three years ago.

Rachel Connealy, the 26-year-old thrift-savvy bride from Florida, took to TikTok to show off her full-length silk gown she wore for her nuptials this week, revealing she purchased it for next to nothing at Goodwill.

"I thrifted this silk dress right after we got engaged and still wore it for the ceremony," she captioned footage which showed her glammed up on her big day. Watch above.

The frock retailed for US$3 (approx. $4.18), and featured a sheer capelet and draping across the bodice.

Connealy topped off her look with white stacked heel sandals, and a matching sheer veil.

Her ceremony gown, however, was not the only dress she wore on the day she tied the knot.

In fact, two weeks Connealy said 'I do,' she found another "dream wedding dress" at Goodwill again, which she purchased for US$5 (approx. $6.97) to wear at her reception.

In a second video shared to the social media platform, Connealy showed off her reception dress, which was a white mini dress with a flouncy floral-lace skirt and puffy sleeves.

Connealy's thrifted gowns cost only a small fraction of what a majority of brides in the United States are paying to wear on their big day.

Per Brides, the average wedding gown in the United States costs US$1631 (approx. ($2272), including alterations. Prices, however, can range anywhere from US$500 (approx. $697) to US$25,000 (approx. $34,829) or more, depending on the bridal boutique and designer.

"I thought you were Meghan Markle," one TikTok user commented.

"You remind me of gorgeous Meghan Markle here!" another wrote.

The Duchess of Sussex famously wore a Givency dress designed by Clare Waight Keller, which drew comparisons to a white dress worn by the late Carolyn Bassette Kennedy.

Her 16-foot veil also featured embroidered motifs, which represented the floral emblems of all 53 countries in the Commonwealth, a surprise gesture for husband Prince Harry.

Like Connealy, the Duchess of Sussex changed into a modern second dress for her evening reception.

Regardless of comparisons to the Duchess, TikTok users were blown away by Connealy's elegance.

"Genuinely stunning. Like something out of a magazine," one TikTok user wrote of Connealy's look.

Others marvelled at how expensive the ensemble looked compared to its genuine price tag, with one person writing, "Loving the minimalist look, also seems expensive af."
